ABOUT

What Lucky Audio Is

Lucky Audio makes useful, reasonably priced tools for musicians — plugins, devices, and instruments built for the way people actually work. The goal is to keep good tools within reach and to expand the scope of who gets to make music in the first place.

It's a one-person operation today, run as a brand of Three Sevens Creative. No fake team page, no studio photo — just the work.

Available Now

  • WebSynth — a free synth that runs in your browser at synth.lucky.audio. No install, no sign-up.
  • Max for Live devices — a growing collection of free M4L devices for Ableton Live.

In the Works

  • —Paid plugins and tools. A handful of products are in development — native apps and DAW plugins (VST, AU, AUv3, and CLAP). Pricing will stay fair; the free things stay free.

Access to Music

Software is one piece, but a lot of the barrier to making music is physical — instruments that are hard to play, setups that fight you, programs without funding. A new player handed a guitar with high action and dead strings often quits before they had a real chance, and they never knew the instrument was the problem.

Part of the plan for Lucky Audio is to put some of its proceeds — and some of my own time — toward getting better gear into school music programs and into the hands of new players: starter instruments set up properly, with low action and a real shot at sounding good. A close friend teaches elementary music and knows which programs need what most. Scope is small for now and will grow as the shop does.
